Quick update.  I'm on the board of the HOA and had my first real meeting last night.  It was the meeting right before Annual Meeting and the budget needed to be set for the upcoming year.  It was a long one...but I consider it a good starting point.  Personalities were a bit more evident than what I think they normally would have been.  Very pleased to advocate for curbside pick up for yardwaste.  We compost but a lot of people toss it in the trash.  It's a dollar a month.  I'm willing to pay it and the county is going to mandate the change within the next year or so, so we might as well jump in now.

George is learning a lot in school.  He's learning sequencing and putting pictures in order by what happens first, second and third.  Writing his name is coming along.  He really doesn't like to practice, though. 

Tomorrow we meet with someone for an estimate on gutters.  I don't think we have enough for the size of out house.  We'll see what the estimator says!  Aunt Becky D is graduating tomorrow night...but it's going to be later than George can stay up so we will sit this one out and probably have a gift for her on Sunday.

Saturday I go on a field trip with the Trail Committee and hospital.  Kinda tickled because the hospital is even providing a bus!  Cracks me up a bit that they are paying a shuttle service so we can go down and look at other trails in the area. 

That's it with me for now.  The house is clean...with a few minor exceptions.  Hoping to get those taken care of this weekend. Not sure if that will happen with the meeting 8:30 to 12:30...takes a good chunk of the day!
